While our mission involves protecting our clients' interests, we also believe in protecting their communities as well. That is why we support local charities through donations, volunteer time and raising money and awareness. Below you will see two of the charities our Team supports throughout the year.
The Vision of the Community of Strength Project is to give the youth of Baltimore City a place to go after school where they can be empowered and motivated through CrossFit. Adolescents have a place to go to learn important life skills such as goal setting, problem solving and memory building, and leadership skills through guidance and fitness. These athletes are being prepped for life after high school; given the mentorship, means and confidence needed to find the path that holds them to their highest potential. Women’s Housing Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides safe, affordable housing and supportive services to homeless, low-income women and children in Baltimore City. Founded in 1979 by a group of women who, after conducting research, learned that homeless women were invisible in the community, WHC’s mission is to provide the assistance and opportunities necessary for women to change their lives and the lives of their families by becoming independent and self-sufficient. In addition to housing, WHC services include case management, advocacy and life skills training. Services are tailored to meet the needs of each woman or family and are based on their individual situations and goals. From goods and clothes to dollars, WHC is always in need of donations.
